Job Title: CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to perform setup and operation of CNC mills and lathe machines. The role involves setting up CNC machines by installing and adjusting fixtures, tools, and workpieces, loading raw materials, and ensuring proper alignment of machine controls. You will interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to understand machining requirements, input and modify CNC programs using G-code, and perform in-process inspections to ensure parts meet strict tolerances. Routine maintenance and cleaning of machines is also required to ensure optimal performance.
Responsibilities
+ Set up CNC machines, including lathes and mills, by installing and adjusting fixtures, tools, and workpieces.
+ Load raw materials into machines and adjust controls to ensure proper alignment.
+ Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models for machining requirements.
+ Input and modify CNC programs using G-code to meet design specifications.
+ Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools to ensure parts meet strict tolerances.
+ Conduct routine maintenance and cleaning of machines to ensure optimal performance.
Essential Skills
+ 3+ years of experience operating CNC machines, preferably in a manufacturing facility.
+ Knowledge of precision measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers.
+ Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
+ Familiarity with basic CNC programming languages, including G-code and M-code.
Why Work Here?
We offer flexible hours with the ability to work either a Sunday-Thursday or Monday-Friday shift, with start times that can range from 4pm to 10pm, as long as a consistent 8-9 hour shift is maintained each week. Expect 45 hours per week, with 5 hours of overtime. Performance evaluations occur at 30, 60, and 90 days, providing opportunities for advancement and pay increases.
Work Environment
You will be working in a machine shop environment during 3rd shift hours, alongside approximately 100 employees. The company is offering opportunities for growth and advancement, distinguishing it from many local market competitors.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $30.00/hr.
