    The Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for the design of new tooling, gauges, and fixtures to support new product releases and ensure quality control for mass production.

    Responsibilities

    + Design 3D models in CAD focusing on new product fixtures, gauges, and tooling for New Product Introductions (NPI).

    + Construct and test the fixture/gauge/tooling by building prototypes and testing its performance to ensure it meets requirements.

    + Assist with concept design, mechanical/manufacturing development, and product optimization strategies.

    + Help lead in rolling out new manufacturing processes and validating manufacturability.

    + Create work instructions and process control documents to be used by production.

    + Create Bill of Materials (BOMs) to accurately plan and budget.

    + Collaborate regularly with cross-functional departments (production, maintenance, quality) and customers.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of manufacturing-related engineering experience.

    + Experience designing gauges, fixtures, and/or tooling.

    + Exposure to manufacturing capabilities including machining, fabrication, tooling, welding, brazing, heat-treating, or composites.

    + Experience supporting new product releases and rolling out new manufacturing processes.

    + Proficiency in 2D/3D CAD, particularly Solidworks.

    + B.S or A.S in an engineering-related discipline.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in the aerospace industry supporting major OEMs of aircraft engines (e.g., GE, Rolls Royce, Pratt & Whitney).

    + Experience working with supporting departments such as welding, brazing, quality, and machining (e.g., lathe).

    + EDM experience.

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes both office and machining manufacturing floor settings, with a 50/50 split. The position operates on a Monday-Friday, 1st shift schedule.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/hr.
