Key Responsibilities:
+ Compliance Assessments: Conduct assessments of water treatment facilities to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
+ Performance Metrics: Evaluate and develop performance metrics for wastewater and greywater treatment processes.
+ Project Management: Create, manage, and execute water treatment projects, ensuring timely completion and adherence to budget.
+ Data Interpretation: Interpret data from chemical trials to inform process improvements and operational savings.
+ RO Performance Monitoring: Develop methods to monitor reverse osmosis (RO) performance and implement recommendations for improvement.
+ Capital Project Planning: Review and revise plans for recurring projects such as filter media replacements, pump overhauls, and collector well redevelopment.
+ Operational Support: Provide operational support for water treatment facilities, including troubleshooting and optimization.
+ Process Improvement: Identify and address gaps in water treatment processes.
Skills & Qualifications:
+ Educational Background : Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
+ Experience: Minimum of 4+ years of experience in water treatment.
+ Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of water treatment processes, including chemical, physical, and biological methods.
+ Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental regulations and standards related to water treatment.
+ Supplier Evaluation: Ability to vet suppliers' water treatment solutions and recommend the best course of action to the operations team.
+ Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
+ Communication: Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Work Environment:
+ Innovative Facility: Work at one of the largest utilities in the country, featuring state-of-the-art equipment and technology.
+ Efficiency and Cleanliness: Our IGCC facility emits less sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, and particulates than the plant it replaces, while providing more than 10 times the amount of megawatt-hours.
+ Work Schedule: Typical work schedule is five days a week, 40 hours per week, with overtime possible during outages or emergency situations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00/hr.
