Job Title: Sheet Metal Installer

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Sheet Metal Installer with expertise in square and circle duct installation, nut & bolt assembly, fabrication, and layout interpretation. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints is essential.

Responsibilities

+ Install square and circle duct systems efficiently and accurately.

+ Perform fabrication tasks including layout and assembly.

+ Utilize power tools effectively for installation and fabrication tasks.

+ Interpret and work from blueprints to ensure precise installation.

+ Collaborate with team members on-site to complete projects.

+ Conduct in-field fabrication and prepare cut sheets as required.

Essential Skills

+ Proven experience in sheet metal installation and duct work.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Proficiency in using power tools.

+ Ability to work independently and in small teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ In-field fabrication experience.

+ Experience working in commercial facilities such as hospitals, food chains, retail shops, and high rises.

Work Environment

Work in a small fabrication shop located in Hicksville, New York, with fieldwork assignments in various commercial facilities. Transportation to job sites is provided, and a car is preferred for reaching the Hicksville location.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Hicksville, New York.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
