    Job Title: Die Repair Technician

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Tool Room Technician to maintain and repair dies during the 3rd shift. This role involves working on both press and tool room repairs, requiring an individual with over 7 years of experience who can seamlessly integrate into our team.

    Responsibilities

    + Maintain and repair dies in stamping presses, including 2200 Schuler presses and other tonnage presses.

    + Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with the fingers of the press.

    + Perform lock out tag out procedures and troubleshoot broken punches.

    + Utilize press gauges for tool and die setup.

    + Assist in training and familiarizing Die Setters with processes.

    Essential Skills

    + Progressive die troubleshooting experience.

    + 7+ years of maintenance experience.

    + Tool Room machinist skills, including manual machining and surface grinders.

    + Certified in Cranes, Forklift, and Hi-Lo.

    + In-press repair experience for troubleshooting.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Strong problem-solving skills.

    + Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.

    + Prioritize and address tool and die maintenance needs.

    Work Environment

     

    Our facility offers a third shift from 11 pm to 7 am, Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work based on production needs. The workweek ranges from 45 to 55 hours, starting Monday night. We are situated in an older building that includes stamping and robotic weld sides, undergoing renovations to improve conditions and expand operations.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $74880.00/yr.

     

    Working thru new benefits package and working with the US to match the market

     

    Starting from the ground up; would help get to make the plant what it is.

     

    They just launched their 2nd shift; would eventually launch 3rd shift by Q4 / Q1 2025
