Job Title:** **Senior** **Mechatronics & Robotics Technician

Job Description

As a Sr. Mechatronics & Robotics Technician, you will lead the team in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment. You will design solutions for complex problems, manage projects, and mentor both service technicians and contract technicians. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the Operations Maintenance Team.

Responsibilities

+ Promote a safe working environment by adhering to all safety procedures.

+ Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems within the facility.

+ Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, and solenoids.

+ Create, assign, and close out work orders, documenting labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.

+ Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures, providing mentorship to junior technicians.

+ Maintain positive working relationships across the Operations facility.

Essential Skills

+ High school diploma or equivalent.

+ 4+ years of experience with material handling equipment such as automated conveyors and controls.

+ 4+ years of experience in preventative maintenance.

+ 4+ years of experience in reading blueprints and schematics.

+ 3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).

+ Experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.

+ Experience in a team lead capacity, supporting, training, and mentoring less experienced technicians.

+ Previous vendor management experience.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

Work Environment

The role involves physical demands such as reaching overhead, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps/ladders, using an aerial lift, and lifting up to 50 lbs. of equipment. Employees must wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and regularly move between departments, floors, and properties, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day. The work takes place in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures, and requires typing on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $95160.00 - $95160.00/yr.
