Job Title: Milling CNC Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Milling CNC Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up and operating CNC milling machines, conducting quality inspections on machined components, and performing tool changes and offsets. This role requires precision and attention to detail, with multiple setups performed daily.
Responsibilities
+ Read and interpret blueprints to accurately set up and operate CNC milling machines.
+ Conduct quality inspections on machined components using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
+ Perform 2-5 setups daily, ensuring efficiency and precision.
+ Execute tool changes and offsets as necessary to maintain machine accuracy.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 3 years of experience setting up and operating CNC mills.
+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and CNC setup on mills.
+ Experience using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in an ISO certified manufacturing environment, preferably in automotive, medical, or aerospace sectors.

Work Environment
Our facility is a medical device manufacturing site specializing in surgical instruments. It is extremely clean and climate-controlled, ensuring a comfortable working environment. The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 3pm to 1:30am, Monday through Thursday. With approximately 100 employees, you'll be part of a dedicated team, reporting to the Machining Manager.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kenosha, Wisconsin.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $30.00/hr.
