    As a Cad Detailer, you will be responsible for producing detailed shop drawings and erection plans for steel structures. You will communicate with the team regarding project needs and details, contributing to the planning and development of projects. You will work collaboratively with Project Managers, providing quality control and quality assurance of erection drawings and fabrication drawings for large structural steel projects. Additionally, you will assist fabricators with questions and provide support, help develop detailing standards, ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and codes, update and revise drawings as project requirements change, and assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during fabrication or construction.

    Responsibilities

    + Produce detailed shop drawings and erection plans for steel structures.

    + Communicate with the team regarding project needs and details.

    + Contribute to the planning and development of projects.

    + Work collaboratively with Project Managers.

    + Provide quality control and quality assurance of erection drawings and fabrication drawings for large structural steel projects.

    + Assist fabricators with questions and provide support.

    + Help develop detailing standards.

    + Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and codes.

    + Update and revise drawings as project requirements change.

    + Assist in resolving any design-related issues that arise during fabrication or construction.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Tekla, SDS2, and SolidWorks.

    + Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

    + Knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication processes.

    + Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

    + Ability to interpret and convey technical information clearly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
