    Job Title: Field Service Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for a Field Service Technician to work both on-site and, in the field, primarily focusing on Automated equipment. This role involves installing new machines, repairing existing ones, and providing basic training and technical support to clients. The position requires frequent travel, up to 80% of the time, which can include destinations as far as Canada or Mexico.

    Responsibilities

    + Communicate effectively with customers.

    + Provide basic training and technical support to clients.

    + Test machines before they are shipped out.

    + Perform IFATs and other tests.

    + Conduct simple electrical and mechanical fixes.

    + Create and complete checkout lists for each machine.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years as a service technician or 5+ years as an in-house machine builder/maintenance.

    + Proficiency in both electrical (high and low voltage up to 240V, relays, drives, PLC knowledge) and mechanical (servos, gearboxes, pneumatics) skills.

    + Strong computer skills.

    + Excellent communication skills.

    + Willingness to travel up to 80% via car or plane.

    + High school diploma or GED.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $75000.00/yr.
