    Job Title: Documentation SpecialistJob Description

     

    We are seeking a meticulous Documentation Specialist to develop, review, and update technical documents, including procedural manuals, user guides, technical specifications, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). This role is crucial in preparing, reviewing, and managing Certificates of Analysis (COA) to ensure product quality and compliance with customer requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Create and maintain technical documents such as procedural manuals, user guides, and technical specifications.

    + Prepare, review, and manage Certificates of Analysis (COA) for product quality compliance.

    + Implement and maintain document control systems, including identification, retrieval, distribution, and archiving.

    + Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for consistent and efficient operations.

    + Collaborate with various departments to gather and interpret information needed for documentation.

    + Conduct regular audits to ensure all documents are accurate and up-to-date.

    + Train staff on document access and management procedures.

    + Ensure all documentation complies with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in the sciences (e.g., Food Science, Biology)

    + Proven experience with Certificates of Analysis (COA) in a manufacturing setting

    + Exceptional writing, organizational, and communication skills

    + Proficiency in document management software

    + Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

    + Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams

    Work Environment

    The work environment includes a laboratory setting where safety and cleanliness are paramount. The role requires the use of personal protective equipment and adherence to safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel. The laboratory is equipped with advanced instruments such as HPLC, GC, and ICP, and the specialist will be expected to maintain a high standard of laboratory hygiene and documentation practices.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr.
