Assistant Construction SuperintendentJob Description

We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Assistant Superintendent to join our team. The ideal candidate is a go-getter and self-starter, eager to learn and grow within the company. This role offers the opportunity to work on various projects across Lafayette, Indiana to Columbus, IN, assisting the on-site Superintendent with paperwork, technology, and general assistant duties. The successful candidate will be very computer savvy and ready to move from project to project, contributing to larger projects and gaining valuable experience in the field.

Responsibilities

+ Assist the on-site Superintendent with daily paperwork and documentation.

+ Utilize technology to streamline project management and communication.

+ Perform general assistant duties, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing correspondence.

+ Support the team in various administrative tasks to ensure smooth project operations.

+ Travel between project sites as needed, adapting to different project requirements.

+ Engage in continuous learning and development to advance within the company.

+ Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Essential Skills

+ Procore scheduling software experience.

+ Any level of college degree related to Construction Management or Construction Engineering or equivalent onsite construction experience with technology.

+ 1 year of experience reading blueprints.

+ 1 year of experience on construction sites.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with MS Project.

+ Experience with Bluebeam.

+ General Contractor experience.

+ Ground Up construction experience.

+ Associates degree in a relevant field.

+ Experience with tenant build-outs and multifamily projects.

Work Environment

The work environment involves being on site from Monday to Friday, 7 am to 3 or 4:30 pm. Some weekends may be required depending on project needs. This role offers a monthly truck allowance and phone allowance, providing support for transportation and communication.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $95000.00/hr.
