Minimum qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent practical experience.

+ 8 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).

+ 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role; overseeing projects, with 2 years of experience in a people management, supervision/team leadership role.

Preferred qualifications:

+ Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field.

+ 3 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $197,000-$291,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. + Manage a high performing team of software engineers.

+ Provide technical guidance to the team as they design, develop, integrate and test the features for BeyondBackendBackbone (B4) availability, scaling, NPIs.

+ Prioritize work and ensure that incremental progress is made even if the problems at hand are difficult to solve in a short period of time.

+ Help team members and partner teams understand the broader context, and solve the right problems at the right time.

+ Be comfortable with changes in the execution plan if they are enabling the right impact for Google.
