Job Details Job Title: OB/GYN Physician Assistant (PA) Location: East Islip, NY Job Type: Part Time Schedule: Monday – Friday (Day Shifts) Position Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join our OB/GYN practice in East Islip, NY. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in women's health and be committed to delivering exceptional care across all stages of life, from adolescence through menopause. This is a great opportunity to work in a supportive, team-oriented environment with experienced providers in a growing practice. Responsibilities: Provide comprehensive OB/GYN care under physician supervision Perform well-woman exams, prenatal and postpartum visits, and gynecologic assessments Assist in minor office procedures and in-office ultrasounds as needed Educate patients on preventive care, family planning, and reproductive health Take detailed medical histories and perform physical examinations Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs Document all patient encounters accurately and timely in the EMR Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and administrative staff to ensure high-quality care Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program Current NY State PA license and NCCPA certification OB/GYN experience strongly preferred, but new grads with women’s health rotations are welcome to apply Strong communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable working both independently and as part of a care team BLS and ACLS certification required Benefits: Competitive salary based on experience Health, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off and holidays CME allowance and support Malpractice insurance coverage Opportunities for growth within a well-established practice About Us: Our East Islip OB/GYN practice is a trusted name in women's health, committed to providing personalized, compassionate care to a diverse patient population. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience.
