Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Electronic Security Technician to join our team in Sterling, VA. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting commercial security systems including access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and intercom systems.

Key Responsibilities:

Install, configure, and maintain electronic security systems at commercial sites.

Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and repairs.

Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.

Provide excellent customer service and support during and after installations.

Maintain accurate documentation of work performed and materials used.

Qualifications:

2+ years of experience in commercial electronic security systems installation and service.

Proficiency with systems such as Lenel, Genetec, Avigilon, Bosch, Honeywell, or similar.

Strong understanding of low voltage wiring and network infrastructure.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

DCJS Certification

Preferred Qualifications:

Industry certifications (e.g., NICET, BICSI, ESA, or manufacturer-specific training).

Experience with government or high-security installations.

OSHA 10/30 certification.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
