Job Description:
Develop a comprehensive project plan to guide the team to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables. Create a detailed project schedule with milestones and deadlines. Identify and allocate resources required for the project. Build and lead a cohesive project team. Communicate project goals and expectations to team members. Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress and challenges. Distribute tasks based on team members' skills and project requirements. Assess project needs and assign responsibilities to team members. Provide clear instructions and expectations for each assigned task. Monitor progress and offer support as needed. Make sure team members understand scope of work and deliver good quality. Monitor and discuss daily progress and perform daily pull-requests. Test the results to ensure quality of product. Communicate with project stakeholders to manage expectations. Provide regular project updates to stakeholders. Address stakeholder concerns and feedback. Facilitate communication channels between the team and stakeholders. Address challenges and obstacles that arise during projects. Analyze problems and propose solutions. Work on solutions and troubleshooting issues. Manage changes to project scope and requirements. Assess the impact of requested changes. Communicate changes to the team and stakeholders. Adjust project plans and timelines as necessary. Supervises two subordinates: Software Engineers
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related STEM field, or a foreign degree equivalent plus 3 years post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or any data/engineering related job titles. Must have 3 years of experience in the following: (1) Database Technologies (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, HBase); (2) Cloud Data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Athena, Google Bigquery, Azure Data storage; (3) developing sophisticated dashboards using PowerBI, Tableau and TIBCO spotfire; (4) Data pipeline and workflow management tools: Dataiku, AWS glue, lambda; (5) Developing machine learning models with tools such as AutoML, Dataiku and Python using libraries such as pandas, Beautiful Soup, tika, and NumPy; and (6) Utilizing Python, Java, C, C++, R, Java Script, Node.js, PHP, Shell scripting, HTML, CSS languages to build scalable solutions.
