Assignment Details
Medical Oncology unit who specializes in both oncology and hematology patients. We are mixed acuity, seeing both Med Surg and Advanced Care patients. We see a lot of blood products and chemotherapy patients on our unit, while also seeing lots of other skills such as drips, PCAs, wounds and more! With ONS Certification, RNs on unit do administer chemotherapy. Travelers are first to float to Stepdown/Advanced Care Units.

On Call Bill / On Call Pay
On Call Bill rate = $6.00/hr
On Call PAY rate = $3.00/hr
Call Back Bill / Call Back Pay
Call Back Bill = Regular Bill rate + $10
Call Back PAY = 1.5x regular hourly rate /hr
*If HCP is CALLED BACK we BILL + PAY a MINIMUM of 2 hrs
Holiday Bill Rate / Pay Rate
Regular Bill + $10 ; 11p day before until 11p day of holiday / Pay OT rate

Yes – VMS / Non Maxview client (2% internal burden)

0 – orientation is billed 100%
Billing process
Biweekly billing schedule; reverse invoices required

Cancelation Policy
Facility can cancel 1 shift per 2 wks (no bill/no pay)

Emailed to local office to be relayed to recruiter/NRM to be sent to HCP
Time Tracking
Kronos – HCP will badge in/out for all shifts and breaks, HCP will email recruiter/NRM full print out of Kronos report (including all shift dates, punch in + out times visible + HCP name visible)

MINIMUM experience required to submit
2 yrs experience + any specifics listed in the VMS per position
Must have oncology experience. Sickle cell experience and chemo certified are strongly preferred
Travel experience preferred
Application MUST show some 1:5 ratio experience in the Work History section for SD or PCU
Submission Profile Requirements:
+ AYA Cover Page – In COMPANY Attachments - RTO MUST be included in submission or else will not be approved post offer
+ UPDATED RESUME – provide city, state for all assignments/staff positions 7 yr work history, work gaps all accounted for, and most recent or current assignment has actual end date listed (can’t say present or current, ex: someone ends assignment in coming weeks resume shows estimated end date MM/YYYY)
+ Skills Checklist for unit submitting
+ 2 References from positions held within a year – 1 Manager/Supervisor, 1 Charge are acceptable
+ Nursys License Verification
+ All Certifications on hand (CPR/ACLS/PALS/etc)
*Present match with full profile to position owner
