    English Language Learner (ELL) AssociateClass B, 7 hrs./day, 176 days/yr. - ELL AssociateNew hires must have an AA degree, Para-educator Certificate, or ability to pass a competency test. Primary responsibilities include providing communication and assistance to English Language Learners for continuity across the child's learning environment. The support will include explaining, expanding and ensuring understanding and acting as a liaison between the general educational environment and services provided by the certified ELL teacher. Must be able to assist in academic subjects using lesson plans and instructional strategies developed by teachers and other professional support staff. Will assist in monitoring students' academic and social progress and behavioral expectations. Other duties as assigned.
