Description:

We're seeking someone who has skills both with fullstack web and API development as well as abilities with cloud native engineering.

_Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance._

_Rate: $70 - $75 / hr. w2_

Responsibilities:

Develop and design and implement within products / platforms alongside various internationally renown software professionals (tech leads, QA, architects, offshore resources, system analysts, et cetera) to meet sprint deadlines

Experience Requirements:

+ 15+ progressive years of IT experience as either a software engineer / cloud engineer (MUST BE ABLE TO CODE WITH EITHER GOLANG, JAVA, PYTHON, .NET, C#, RUBY, ET CETERA)

+ Excellent understanding of REST APIs, authentication of said application interfaces, as well as a deep knowledge of API design, API gateways, and also have strong experiences with web services (JSON, HTTP responses, XML, REST, SOAP, YAML, et cetera) as well as build/deployment experience working with automated agile environments (Test driven, behavioral driven development teams) working towards end-to-end SDLC / automation within a DevOps / DevSecOps influenced team. Ideal candidate understands CICD pipelines, automation, and AWS

Requires:

1) Strong Java/Spring abilities (API / Web services)

2) AWS (EKS / Lambda)

3) Must be able to build out your own Jenkins Pipelines (be a proven resource here, please)

4) Fantastic communication skills and an ability to drive resolutions to complex issues without any assistance both interpersonally and technically (Bonus points for strong skills in either Terraform, Cloudformation, or TypeScript / Angular)

Education Requirements:

Bachelors in Computer Science (must have)
