Acosta is a dynamic and client-focused organization dedicated to providing exceptional service and support. We are seeking a professional and outgoing Fresh Food Technician to join our team. This role is a unique blend of office management and food preparation, requiring a proactive individual who thrives in a client and customer-facing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Training and development of customer employees to ensure that a customer team is developed to handle the intricacies of the Fresh Foods .

+ Represents the company in professional capacity to ensure that available human resources are properly trained to handle the details of a Fresh Foods department on a day-to-day basis.

+ Travels and visits stores independently to ensure client/customer requirements are met. Retail travel needs to be scheduled in advance with an agenda outlined for the travel days. While traveling, each technician will check in frequently with an update. Formal pre and post communication with the store may be necessary to determine what resources will be needed. Objectives for each visit will be determined as well as a desired outcome.

+ Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow

+ Greet and assist clients and visitors, providing a warm and professional welcome.

+ Maintain office supplies and inventory, placing orders as needed

+ Support the Acosta Sales team with the preparation and presentation of samples for meetings, reviews, and presentations

+ Communicate Effectively with Acosta Sales team, clients, and Kroger Category Management regarding the receiving and delivery of samples and scheduling of meeting rooms

+ Ensure Office cleanliness, including restroom checks, trash removal, and conference room resent between meetings, opening and closing

+ Troubleshoot and assist with conference room set up, including media for client/customer presentations

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education and Work Experience:

+ Prefer degree and/or work experience in industry name.

+ 10 years technical experience of core retail Fresh Foods and/or Bakery and/or Deli operations.

+ 3 years managerial experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

+ Previous experience in office management, hospitality, or a related field.

+ Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

+ Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

+ Professional appearance and demeanor.

+ Basic food preparation and handling skills.

+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

+ High level of organization and attention to detail.

+ Ability to lift 25 pounds.

+ Understanding of food safety guidelines when handling and storing client samples.

+ Ability to maintain and operate equipment, kitchen, restrooms, and conference rooms.

+ Ability to stand for long periods.

+ Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently, proactively.

+ Flexibility regarding start and finish of the workday and ability to adapt to customer and client needs.

+ Proficient in oral and written communication.

+ Ability to operate copier and scanner for clients and the Acosta Sales Team.
