We are searching for the best talent for **Scientist, Data Science** to be in **Raritan, New Jersey**
This role functions to support and ensure data integrity for the electronic data management systems encompassing a broad range of data streams associated with CAR-T development and manufacturing. The preferred candidate will have demonstrated experience in GMP manufacturing and data management with appropriate statistical analysis capabilities.
The MSAT Scientist, Data Science will:
+ Work with paper and electronic systems like MES, eLIMS, EMS, SAP, Delta V, AKTA, TFF, etc. to aggregate and verify data for manufacturing performance tracking and trending. Responsible for development of routine reports with verified data.
+ Participate in the design and maintenance of tools, workflows, systems, and policy to maintain data quality for the integration of data from multiple sources.
+ Support investigations to provide manufacturing data for deviation investigation and support with data analysis and visualization as required.
+ Provide support for Technical Operations group with data support including data analysis assistance and data integrity review of trend investigations, process improvement study reports, regulatory responses, and Continuing Process Validation
+ Support Manufacturing Dashboard activities including updating, maintaining and creation of new visualizations
+ Conduct impact assessments for process and batch record change controls to assess impact on data collection strategy and physical or coding impact on data management and visualization tools
+ Assist with activities for mapping data from data lake (consolidated data from MES, eLIMS, etc. for use in reporting and analysis.
Qualifications
+ A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Biomedical engineering or a related field is required.
+ A minimum of 1-3 years of experience within a cGMP environment in the biotech/biopharma industry is required.
+ Experience in Cell/Gene Therapy cGMP manufacturing experience preferred.
+ Basic statistical analysis capability is highly desirable.
+ Ability to work with paper and electronic system for data compilation including MES, SAP, eLIMS, etc. is required.
+ Prior knowledge of some of the following systems (MES, eLIMS, EMS, Delta V, AKTA, TFF) is preferred
+ Technical CAR-T knowledge or Biotech process knowledge is preferred.
+ An ability to build strong partnerships and effectively integrate with external collaborators to drive projects/programs forward in a matrixed environment is required.
+ Demonstrated ability to build strong partnerships with varied teams like Manufacturing, Engineering and Quality team to ensure seamless execution of daily production schedules is highly desirable.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills and the ability to lead as a change agent to promote efficiency and accountability is preferred .
+ Strong attention to detail and drive for quality work is required.
+ Clear and succinct verbal and written communication skills is required
+ This position is located in Raritan, NJ and may require up to 10% of travel.
Additional Information:
+ The anticipated base pay range for this position is **74,000 - 130,000** annually.
+ The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation’s performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company’s discretion on an individual basis.
