    On Call| Shift Will Vary Based Upon Business Needs

     

    $15.50 Hourly

     

    Weekly Earned Wage Access is an option for this position.

     

    **Job Purpose or Objective(s):** As the laundry attendant, you will maintain a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel. You will report to the Laundry Facilities Manager or Director.

    Primary Tasks:

    + You will sort soiled laundry.

    + Wash, dry, and fold laundry.

    + Operate commercial laundry equipment including Chicago Iron, CBW and Towel Folder.

    + You will separate torn, stained and unusable laundry for inspection.

    + Clean equipment such as removing detergent build-up in washers and cleaning lint traps in dryers.

    + Monitor equipment and report any safety, noise, or breakage issues.

    + Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

    Job Requirements:

    + Work with different cleaning agents, tools, and equipment

    + Complete training on bloodborne pathogens and perform required bloodborne pathogens procedures

    + Work flexible hours including weekends

    + Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time
