Summary Description Dog Tag bakery is seeking a temporary team member with competencies in bread baking, rustic pastries and desserts. The Seasonal Baker will assist with the production of our from-scratch menu of baked goods for the busy season. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated professional capable of working alone or as part of a team. The Seasonal Baker reports directly to the Head Chef and Sous Chef for the length of the project. This candidate will ensures the production of goods for large catering orders and that holiday baskets are prepared according to DTI standards. This position requires availability Sunday through Thursday, from October through December. Key Responsibilities & Duties Maintain a positive, respectful, and clean work environment. Follow direction and recipes correctly. Abide by all Health and Safety standards, including CDC COVID-19 guidelines. Ensure all product is kept to Dog Tag Bakery standards. Maintain production and stock levels for stations. Qualifications 1+ years of industry baking experience of culinary school equivalent. ServSafe Food Handler Certificate. Must take initiative and work well both independently and also as part of a team. Good attention to detail. Works well under pressure. Quickly recognize and resolve problems. Must operate machinery in a clean and safe manner and report unsafe conditions. Must be able to multitask effectively. Must be able to lift and carry up to 50lbs. Must have flexibility in schedule.
