    JOB SUMMARY:

    The Inside Sales Rep/Quoter will review customer requests and provide an item that best matches customer specifications and price accordingly. This individual will communicate with customers by telephone, fax, or email. Records of both customer and vendor interactions and transactions are kept. Keeps a positive relationship with both internal and external customers and vendors.

    JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

    + A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Must have two to three years of direct work experience in a sales or telesales capacity.

    + Industry knowledge is preferred.

    + Intermediate or advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint are required.

    KEY COMPETENCIES:

    + Excellent communication skills both verbal and written needed.

    + Strong problem-identification and objection-resolution skills are necessary.

    + Must be able to build and maintain lasting relationships with customers.

    + Strong organizational skills are essential to managing multiple tasks.

    + Must be able to quickly learn product information.

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
