Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development of necessary artifacts to meet Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) Cyber Security requirements. This role involves engaging with computer software sustainers, documenting responses, and providing analysis and guidance to ensure compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Assist with the development of necessary artifacts to meet STIG and AFLCMC Cyber Security requirements.
+ Engage with the computer software sustainer to assess relevant baselines, compare them to the STIG checklist, and deliver accurate responses.
+ Document responses and produce individual reports for each baseline.
+ Provide analysis and guidance on steps required to remedy STIG checklist items that are not in compliance.
Qualifications:
+ At least five (5) years of demonstrated relevant experience in secure software development, application of STIGs to computer software, and computer software development methodologies.
+ Maintains an active Secret Clearance
+ Experience with the following IT systems and criteria for system analyst tasks:
+ Java or J2EE development
+ Fortify security scan software
+ CodeSonar security scan software
+ Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) Application Security and Development STIG
+ Information Assurance Technical Level II or Information Assurance System Architecture and Engineering Level II certified in accordance with DoDM 8140.03 and DAFMAN 17-1305.
+ Strong understanding of cybersecurity risk management and threat monitoring.
+ Excellent communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with stakeholders and leadership
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS
+ Inside office environment.
+ Working on a computer for long periods of time.
+ May involve long period of sitting at a desk.
+ The work environment is fast-paced and sometimes involves extreme deadline pressures.
