**Job Title:** Facilities Maintenance Technician

**Shift:** 1st Shift | Monday–Friday

We’re looking for a skilled and dependable **Facilities Maintenance Technician** to support building operations at a commercial facility in **Cambridge, MA** . This is a **first-shift** , **temp-to-perm** role with steady hours, a strong team environment, and a path to long-term employment.

What You’ll Be Doing:

+ Perform daily maintenance and inspections of mechanical, HVAC, plumbing, and life safety systems

+ Troubleshoot issues and take corrective action to prevent equipment downtime

+ Support scheduled preventative maintenance and manage work orders using a digital platform

+ Monitor and maintain building systems to ensure compliance with safety standards

+ Conduct regular inspections of critical equipment and facility infrastructure

+ Participate in an on-call rotation every other week

+ Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized in compliance with hazardous material handling policies

+ Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed and evaluate service quality

What You Bring:

+ High school diploma or GED

+ Minimum of **2 years' experience** in commercial facilities maintenance

+ Solid skills in troubleshooting HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems

+ Familiarity with BMS systems and ability to accurately enter detailed work into a work order system

+ Proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel

+ A commitment to safety and professionalism

Preferred (Not Required):

+ **EPA 608 Universal Certification**

+ Formal training or trade school background in electrical systems, HVAC, or refrigeration

**Pay Details:** $28.42 per hour
