    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled and innovative CNC Machinist/Programmer to join our dynamic team in Lancaster, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines to produce high-quality parts and components with precision and efficiency.

     

    + Program CNC machines using G-code and M-code to create complex parts and components

    + Set up and operate various CNC machines, including mills, lathes, and multi-axis machines

    + Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and CAD models to determine machining requirements

    + Utilize CAD/CAM software to develop and optimize machining programs

    + Perform precision measurements and quality checks to ensure parts meet specifications

    + Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to maintain production efficiency

    + Maintain and calibrate CNC machines and tools to ensure optimal performance

    + Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve manufacturing processes

    + Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work environment

    + Stay current with industry trends and technological advancements in CNC machining

    Qualifications

    + 3-5 years of experience in CNC machining and programming

    + Proficiency in CNC programming using G-code and M-code

    + Expertise in CAD/CAM software, such as Mastercam or SolidWorks

    + Strong skills in blueprint reading and interpretation

    + Proficient in using precision measurement tools and techniques

    + Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities

    + Knowledge of various materials, cutting tools, and machining processes

    + Understanding of quality control standards and procedures

    + High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Machine Technology or related field preferred

    + NIMS (National Institute for Metalworking Skills) certifications are a plus

    + Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and accuracy

    + Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

    + Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects

    + Strong analytical thinking and decision-making skills

    + Willingness to work flexible hours, including shifts, as needed

    + Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

    + Adaptability to new technologies and processes in the CNC machining field
