    Transdev inMilwaukee, WI are hiring an Assistant General Manager. The Assistant General Manager will support the General Manager in operation of the Milwaukee Streetcar.

    Competitive compensation package up to $130K based on experience. Full benefit package available after 90 days of employment, including medical, dental, vision, & 401K

    Benefits include:

    + Vacation: 2 weeks vacation

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Directs daily operations management and interface with client.

    + Provide strategic planning and direction to staff and subcontractors

    + Interaction with Federal, State, and City oversight authorities

    + Manage contract compliance

    + Has shared responsibility for scheduling, performance evaluations, and staffing responsibilities

    Qualifications:

    + Bachelors degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Logistics, Railroad Management, or related field preferred

    + 5+ years of supervisory or management skills in a similar position

    + Knowledge of relevant federal and state employment laws

    + Ability to deal with state and local government

    + Ability to manage cost control and financial/ budget experience

    + Ability to organize and perform work efficiently. Strong attention to detail

    + Ability to navigate Labor Relation issues and work effectively with union partners

    + Must be able to work flexible work schedule as needed

    Physical Requirements:

    + Sit for extended periods (up to 6–8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possible sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces

    + Lift material weighing up to 50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored at ground level
