    Job Title:              Logistics Technician

    Department:      Logistics

     

    Reports to:          Logistics Supervisor

     

    Position:              Night Shift

    Purpose:

    The Logistics Tech provides support in the loading/unloading of trucks and material handling functions to support production.

    General Duties:

    + Safe operation of forklift activity.

    + Unloading of material from vendors.

    + Putting away material to appropriate departments.

    + Picking/scanning/loading of customer orders.

    + Material handling of FG material from production area to warehouse.

    + Perform inventory counts.

    + Maintain 5S activity in warehouse

    Skills:

    + Strong verbal and written communication.

    + Excellent problem solving and time management.

    + Ability to work well in a multi-cultural environment.

    + Ability to work with minimal supervision when required.

    Requirements:

    + High school diploma or equivalent is required.

    + Prior experience working in a multi-cultural company is preferred.

    + Experience in automotive sector is preferred.
