    Job Overview

    **Advance Pump and Equipment, Inc.** leads the industry with more than 30 years of custom design and manufacturing experience of vacuum tank trucks and trailers. We collaborate directly with each customer to gain an understanding of their needs and provide the highest quality product on the market. We are searching for a hardworking and motivated **Welder** to add to our team.

    Our Welders Must:

    + Be a valuable participant in all phases of vacuum body welding construction

    + Possess superior MIG & TIG welding skills on all materials used in the shop

    + Be open to learning new welding skills and techniques

    + Understand procedures, correct welder settings, and the proper welding positions and techniques to use

    + Use and control a variety of hand tools

    + Be fully competent in understanding and reading blueprints

    + Be able to independently problem solve fabrication issues

    + Have the ability to successfully work in a team environment to reach a common goal

    + Be able to reach, lift, kneel, walk, and stand for several hours at a time

    + Have the ability to be forklift certified, confined space certified and other certifications as required

    + Be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 75 pounds

    + Undergo a pre-employment physical and drug test

    Our Welders come to us with:

    + A minimum of 2+ years welding experience, preference given to those with experience in tank fabrication and/or industrial welding

    + Above average attention to detail and accuracy

    + Superior communication skills

    + Solid work references and job history

    We Offer:

    + Competitive wages based on experience and education, starting between $25 - $30/hr.

    Position Details:

    + Full-time hours from 40-45 hours per week

    + 1st shift position, 5:30 am start time

    + Paid weekly
