    Intern - Manufacturing Engineering

     

    Department: Manufacturing Engineering

     

    This job is responsible for review of existing manufacturing processes and development of new manufacturing processes to support our production lines and ensure our ability to meet current manufacturing schedules and future growth targets.

     

    + Work Closely with Manufacturing Engineers to develop and improve new and existing production processes and methods for increasing output and efficiency, as well as reducing costs and preventing defects. Work to increase process stability to meet customer demand with minimum amount of resources.

    + Involved in process improvement initiatives and projects across all departments on site.

    + Assist Production Supervisors in solving technical, tooling, quality, process, and maintenance problems affecting the daily operations in manufacturing.

    + Participate in CIP (Continuous Improvement Process) and LEAN events as required for their individual areas of expertise.
