Now for the exciting news! AKS Engineering & Forestry (AKS) is seeking a permanent full-time Survey Crew Leader. What You’ll Do

+ Operate a variety of survey equipment, including Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GPS, laser scanners, and TSC5 data collectors.

+ Maintain clear, accurate, and professional field notes.

+ Supervise and mentor field crew personnel and lead a one- to two-person crew.

+ Collect data for boundary, topographic, industrial, and construction surveys.

+ Conduct quality control by reviewing final maps and ensuring accuracy.

+ Continuously pursue professional development to expand knowledge, resolve boundary issues, and prepare for LSIT/PLS exams.

Who You Are

+ A minimum of 2+ years’ relevant experience as a Survey Crew Leader, with demonstrated growth in responsibilities preferred.

+ Must have valid OR or WA driver's license and a clean driving record.

+ Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards in the field.

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

+ Ability to pass a urinalysis test

Nice to Have

+ Associate’s or Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying or a related field.

+ Land Survey Intern (LSI) certification.

+ Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.

+ Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to guide and motivate a team.

+ Solid mathematical background with a practical understanding of surveying calculations.
