    What You'll Do

    + Apply knowledge of import/export regulationsto support business needs.

    + Analyze import/export datato identify risks or savings opportunities.

    + Prepare reportsand make recommendations to management.

    + Support CBP Requests for Information, Post Entry Amendments, and Prior Disclosures.

    + Respond to Broker Requests for Informationand ensure resolution.

    + Ensure proper classification, valuation, and origin determinationfor imported goods.

    + Implement corrective actionsas directed by Supervisor/Manager.

    + Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and materials managementon customs matters and provide training as needed.

    + Support reporting price adjustments and royaltiesvia the CBP Reconciliation Prototype Program.

    + Review and audit import/export recordsincluding customs documents, commercial invoices, and shipping documents.

    + Elevate issuesrequiring correction to Corporate C&TC.

    + Stay updated on Customs, FDA, and other government agency import regulations.

    + Operate under general supervisionfrom Supervisor/Manager.

    + Ensure compliant importation and exportationof goods and services.

    + Analyze opportunities and make recommendationsto achieve financial objectives.

    + Maintain confidentialityand work within attorney/client privilege when appropriate.

    + Balance cost optimization and compliance.

    Required Qualifications

    + Bachelors degree: Business, Supply Chain or other related field preferred. • Prior global logistics experience in the freight forwarding area is a plus

    + Other: Licensed Customs Broker or Certified Customs Specialist nice to have, but not required.

    + Minimum 1-2 years experience in import/export operations, transportation, international business, or other related field.

    + Computer skills, knowledge of Excel.

    + Sound analytical abilities and acute attention to detail required.

    + Effective communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills are absolutely critical for this position.

    + Ability to balance multiple priorities simultaneously and manage time appropriately and independently.

     

    The base pay for this position is $60,000.00 – $120,000.00. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
