The Data Analytics team is at the forefront of leveraging data to drive strategic decisions and optimize business performance. We work collaboratively to harness the power of data, ensuring our strategies align with company goals and deliver actionable insights. As a Data Engineer II, your contributions will be vital in shaping our data infrastructure and analytical capabilities.
What You’ll Do
+ Develop and maintain scalable data pipelines and systems.
+ Integrate data from various data sources, ensuring data quality and reliability.
+ Implement and optimize data processing frameworks and tools.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data-driven projects.
+ Design and uphold data schema lifecycle and governance.
What You’ll Bring
+ Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including Postgres and Cassandra.
+ Proficiency in AWS cloud services (EC2, MSK, S3, RDS, SNS, SQS) and stream-processing systems (Storm, Spark-Structured-Streaming, Kafka).
+ Strong skills in scripting languages such as Python, Java, Scala, R, and SQL.
+ Experience with data pipeline and workflow management tools (AWS Data Pipeline, Apache Airflow, Argo).
+ Hands-on experience with big data tools (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and software engineering practices (Github, VSCode, CI/CD).

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $88,000.00-$171,000.00
Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
