What you'll do...

About the Team:

Inscape Core Engineering is at the heart of Walmart/VIZIO’s technology infrastructure, driving forward our mission to deliver exceptional digital experiences. Our team is dedicated to developing, maintaining, and optimizing the core systems that support our services. As a Software Engineer III, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems, directly impacting the company’s growth and customer satisfaction.

What You’ll Do:

+ Design, develop, monitor, review, unit test, and deploy code for the team’s services.

+ Write and maintain Terraform (IaC) configurations and CI/CD tools/scripts.

+ Build and maintain cloud-based infrastructure like Kafka clusters and EC2 instances.

+ Triage application and system issues to debug, track, and recover services quickly.

+ Collaborate with developers, SREs, and other teams to streamline development and deployment workflows.

What You’ll Bring:

+ Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

+ 4+ years of experience with software development in languages like Java or Go.

+ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl.

+ Experience with Unix/Linux operating systems and CI/CD tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI.

+ Familiarity with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or ECS and monitoring tools such as Prometheus or New Relic.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. The annual salary range for this position is $99,000.00-$198,000.00
