    Reliability Tech B "Facility Utility" - 1st Shift (Thomson, GA)

    Position Overview

    Position Overview:

    The prospective candidate should demonstrate basic knowledge and general understanding of the following facility support equipment: (HVAC Systems, Steam Boilers and Condensate Systems, Air Washes, Compressed Air Systems, Cooling Towers, Chillers, and other subsystems that will be used to support the manufacturing operation).

    Responsibilities:

    Execution of assigned tasks and duties with focus on: Safe work practices High quality, precision work with a customer service orientation in support of “Great Products & Service” Adherence to standards and best practice application acquired through training and work experience Grow in knowledge of maintenance practices and equipment performance, understanding their impact on manufacturing processes and business objectives.

    Work hours:

    Monday - Friday, daytime/standard business hours (7a-3p): Candidate must be willing to work overtime, and be on call as business needs dictate (The role demands readiness to assist 24/7 in emergencies impacting business operations and may also require after-hours or weekend work to support operations that cannot be done during normal business hours)

    Qualifications:

    • High School or AA degree or At least 5 years of experience in a facility maintenance role, preferably in a manufacturing facility.

    • Strong knowledge of Steam Boiler Operation, HVAC and Chill Water Systems.

    • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, including preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and reliability-centered maintenance

    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex maintenance issues.

    • Ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.

    • Ability to communicate and work with vendors/contractors.

    • Knowledge of safety requirements and initiatives including but not limited to Lockout Tagout, Job Hazard Analysis (JHA/JSA) and Work Permits.

    Pay Rate: $28.97

    Work Shift

    8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to in punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts AM
