**Work with a purpose! Management & Training Corporation (MTC) operates the Bluebonnet Detention Facility in Anson, TX.** We provide a safe and secure working environment for our staff while helping non-citizens gain valuable skills and treatment necessary for success upon release.

**What you'll do:** You'll be responsible for proper use and maintenance of laundry equipment and maintaining records of laundry operations in compliance with Management & Training Corporation (MTC) and customer directives.

Essential Functions:

+ Operate laundry equipment. Perform routine and preventive maintenance on equipment.

+ Perform tests on wash formulas.

+ Provide the receipt, storage, repair and issue of detainee necessities, and implement inventory control procedures.

+ Maintain related records and preparation for related reports.

+ Direct the work of detainees assigned to assist in the laundry.

+ Requires long periods of walking and standing

+ Requires the pushing and pulling of laundry carts and lifting of laundry bags full of laundry which could weigh up to 30 lbs.

Education and Experience Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent

+ One (1) year of experience in institutional laundry operations, including experience in the following areas: receiving, inventory and shipping of supplies required.

+ Must successfully complete required pre-service training.

+ Valid driver’s license in the state of Texas with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
