    Job Overview

     

    The Lakes Medical Center Respiratory Care Manager has accountability for the management of people, finances, and business operations for Respiratory Care, Pulmonary Diagnostics, and EKG. The Manager assures that customers are the focus of all business activities and that employee satisfaction is the essential ingredient within all efforts. Ensures that high quality services are provided within professional regulatory and accrediting body standards, and that overall clinical performance meets or exceeds best practice benchmarks. Develops and administers policies and procedures, operating and capital budgets. This position will mainly be at Fairview's Lakes Medical Center location but weekly travel to Fairview's Northland Medical Center locaiton will be required as well.

    Provides technical expertise and acts as liaison for Respiratory Care Standard of Practice, Equipment, Policies and Procedures.

    Required Qualifications

    Education

    + Bachelor’s Degree in healthcare related field within 2 years of starting in role

    Experience

    + 5 years respiratory care experience

    + 1 year healthcare supervisory/leadership

    License/Certification/Registration

    + Current Registered Respiratory Therapist with the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC)

    + Current Minnesota Licensed Respiratory Therapist (MN Board of Medical Practice)

    Preferred Qualifications

    Experience

    + EEG, EKG, EMG experience

    License/Certification/Registration

    + Basic Life Support (BLS)

    + Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

    Compensation Disclaimer

     

    The posted pay range is for a 40-hour workweek (1.0 FTE). The actual rate of pay offered within this range may depend on several factors, such as FTE, skills, knowledge, relevant education, experience, and market conditions. Additionally, our organization values pay equity and considers the internal equity of our team when making any offer. Hiring at the maximum of the range is not typical.
