We are looking for a **Systems Engineer, Linux** to join our Pittsburgh (Cheswick) location.

Your Responsibilities:

Our Electro-Mechanical Division (EMD) is searching for a Linux System Engineer to join the Engineering IT team to design, deploy, maintain, and upgrade specialized hardware and software systems

Your Challenge:

+ Administer Enterprise Linux servers, ensuring system availability, security, and performance

+ Implement and maintain Ansible playbooks for configuration management

+ Support engineering by deploying and managing HPC nodes & clusters

+ Collaborate with development teams to deploy and support applications

+ Monitor system health using Prometheus & Grafana

What you Bring:

+ Must be sole US citizen and be able to obtain and maintain DOD security clearance

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)

+ Proven experience as a Linux System Engineer

+ Minimum relevant experience of 6 years

+ Coding/scripting experience highly desired (bash, python, perl)

+ Proficiency in Ansible for configuration management

+ Knowledge of GitLab or other version control systems

+ Familiarity with virtualization and containerization

+ Understanding of HPC environments

+ Experience with environments running Oracle databases
