NTT DATA currently seeks a Product Owner to join our team working remote in Canada.
Description: The Product Owner leads or coordinates cross-functional project/program teams from design to delivery of fully-developed products that are ready for customer use. The Product Owner work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.
The Product Owner monitors performance and recommends schedule changes, cost adjustments or resource additions. Investigates facts and develops solutions to problems during the design and planning phases. Provides timely and accurate information and status updates to functional leaders. May be responsible for feasibility studies, field trials management, identifying product gaps, defining product requirements and engaging with customers to understand market needs and trends. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor's degree
+ 3+ years of technical experience
+ 5+ years of leadership and/or project management experience
+ Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
+ Preferred Qualifications
+ Six Sigma Certification
+ Knowledge of Enterprise Preference Systems.
+ Prioritize and assign work for development team members based on Humana's LPM (Lean Portfolio Management) strategy with a top-down value approach.
+ Manage technical relationships with external partners, internal dependent technical partner teams, consuming business owners and own the end-to-end delivery of technical solutions ensuring all parties involved are aligned with the delivery and timelines of the same.
+ Manage internal communications with Interoperability Principal Product Managers, Lead Product Managers, IT Directors and AVPs, IT Solution Managers, Tech Leads, Solution Architects, Application Architects, Scrum Masters.
+ Remove blockers and drive delivery of the technical solution for product initiatives.
+ Lead communications and drive discussions with other Humana teams to achieve product team goals such as Internal Business Leaders and stakeholders for consuming business teams such as CenterWell, Marketing, Digital, Growth, etc.
+ Ensure the alignment of delivery timelines meets our strategic goals for Preferences and our partners' strategic goals.
+ Develop subject matter expertise and share your acquired knowledge base with others who need to learn.
+ Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms, collaboration and team-building skills
+ Strong organizational skills; capable of handling multiple details simultaneously, with ability to move between strategic and tactical work in a dynamic environment with changing processes and priorities.
+ Strong intuition about user experience and what makes a product experience great. Ability to unpack complex, ambiguous problems and ship simple and user-friendly solutions.
