Job Description:

Clearance Needed: **Secret**

Are you ready for a challenge that will keep you on the edge in the field of big data analytics? Are you a Cloud Architect with experience in overseeing the planning, development, and implementation of cloud solutions? Imagine yourself working on top-level, critical mission sets alongside other seasoned professionals. Parsons is now hiring a Cloud Architect with a passion for innovation and solving mission critical challenges to support our customer. **Remote work with Pacific Coast hours**

Specific Responsibilities:

+ Oversee and deploy cloud-native applications onto Amazon Web Services (AWS); identify requirements, research options, and design solutions for the customer’s Cloud environment.

+ Implement cloud solutions based on user/client needs, cost, and required integration with existing applications, systems, or platforms.

+ Develop and maintain a scalable and secure cloud infrastructure.

+ Collaborate with team to integrate cloud-based solutions and provide technical guidance and support to team members and stakeholders.

+ Develop and maintain documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes

+ Ensure compliance with security standards and best practices.

+ Exhibits exemplary troubleshooting ability and can resolve issues related to complex cloud infrastructure and applications across multiple AWS accounts.

+ Able to quickly understand complex cloud native architecture in AWS with minimal assistance.

Required Education/Experience:

+ 5+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; will consider experience in lieu of degree.

+ 5+ years’ experience working in a multi-skilled team environment collaborating on data integration.

+ Experience in applying and executing Systems Engineering processes and best practices, including architecture design, requirements management, and knowledge management.

+ AWS Certified.

+ Advanced knowledge of extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes and SQL query optimization.

+ Proficiency in programming languages (e.g. Python, Java, Scala)

+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Able to convey complex issues in an easy-to-understand manner

+ Active DoD Secret-level security clearance

Preferred Experience:

+ Active DoD TS/SCI-level security clearance

+ Previous experience supporting an INDOPACOM or US Army customer

+ Experience supporting INDOPACOM intelligence and/or operations

Salary Range: $108,700.00 - $190,200.00
