Citibank, N.A. seeks an Applications Support Senior Analyst for its Irving, TX location.

Duties: Promote stability and quality of technical support services in line with Citi’s regional strategy and technology management policies. Troubleshoot application production issues including testing, maintaining, and monitoring incorporated systems and programs and providing key support for Citi’s Core Banking and Loans Applications. Analyze complex problems and situations and propose critical technical solutions. Develop an understanding of the fundamentals of the supported business areas, translate business issues into technology requirements, and liaise with infrastructure and supporting technology groups across a distributed Unix/Linux environment to drive problem resolution and service levels. Provide critical user support for Treasury and Trade solutions to ensure production is stable and working efficiently. Perform and coordinate post release validations and escalate/handle production issues. Work with development and user acceptance testing teams on new application development, analysis, design, and UAT test review. Configure and maintain application monitoring in production using ITRS and AppDynamics monitoring tools to ensure application issues are monitored proactively. Investigate and resolve problem tickets, prioritizing critical problems impacting business partners and clients. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, and three (3) years of experience in the job offered or in a related IT occupation providing technical support of applications. Three (3) years of experience must include: Participating in application requirement reviews and design sessions to ensure applications are stable, maintainable, scalable, and expandable; Troubleshooting production issues, performing root cause analysis, and identifying and providing technical solutions utilizing UNIX, Linux, Oracle, SQL queries, Shell Scripting or Cloud-based platforms; Preparing complex reports for business users utilizing skills in Oracle databases; Scheduling and troubleshooting Batch jobs using Autosys tool; Utilizing Unix/Linux operating systems for deployment in a cloud environment; Working with Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes to modify systems to improve functions; and Deploying software changes through software product system, monitoring network protocols, and troubleshooting network related issues. 40 hrs./wk.
