    Job Overview

     

    The Regional Sales Manager - The Americas is responsible for driving business in this region using key metrics such as Sales Revenue, Market Share, and Operating Profit. This role focuses on establishing and maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction, managing distributor performance and relationships, and ensuring effective governance processes through regular meetings and interactions with customers and distributors (DBs). The Regional Sales Manager will also review and achieve the business plan.

     

    Key Job Responsibilities

     

    + Partner with Komatsu's subsidiaries and distributors (DBs) to ensure market success and achieve business objectives, including market share, revenue, margin, and profit.

    + Foster a high-performance sales culture focused on customer satisfaction, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

    + Identify and develop new business opportunities within the Americas region.

    + Coordinate with the commercial team to align sales strategies and objectives.

    + Collaborate with Komatsu's engineering and product management teams to ensure product offerings meet customer needs and market demands.

    + Work with the marketing team to create compelling messaging, content, and collateral to support sales efforts.

    + Monitor market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for sales growth.

    + Provide regular reporting and updates on sales performance, customer commitments, and market conditions.

    + Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    + Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.

    + Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector.

    + Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.

    + Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

    + Ability to travel frequently within the Americas region. Estimated travel of 50%

    + Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.

    Hiring Range

     

    At Komatsu, your base pay is one part of your total compensation package. This role pays $130,000 - $150,000. The actual offer will consider a wide range of factors, including experience and location.
