    Overview

     

    Bowhead seeks a Junior Management Analyst to join our team supporting the program office for NSWC Corona – Corona Division in Norco, California. The Junior Management Analyst will work directly for the Program Manager and Senior Management Analyst in analyzing complex and unique technical support assignments and assist in leading a team of systems administrators, application developers, service desk support, cyber engineers, and video technicians within a scaled agile environment.

     

    Corona Division is the Navy’s premier independent assessment agent responsible for gauging the warfighting capability of Navy ships and aircraft by assessing weapons and integrated combat systems’ performance, readiness, quality, and supportability. The Junior Management Analyst will support the Program Manager and Senior Management Analyst in managing technical infrastructure supporting Corona Division operations in the areas of command leadership support, IT operations, customer operations and cyber security.

    Responsibilities

    • General IT Admin Support Role. With responsibilities being ITPR processing and tracking, PR tracking support, admin support budget updates, document review, assist IT Portfolio Manager, tracking and reporting 104 admin items as assigned.

    • Provide Customer Service Representative (CSR) support for the Navy's IT approval process, assisting customers with ITPR approval guidance, support, and approval website (NAV-ITAS) access.

    • Provide support in maintaining conformance to the Navy's IT acquisition policy and standards.

    • Monitor and maintain user accounts (approving CIV, GOVT accounts) as well as ensuring that all users are provided proper training material and updated NAV-ADMIN instructions as they are available.

    • Provide support and assist the Command's IT portfolio via the authoritative Navy databases (DADMS, DITPR-DON); promulgate guidance, policy, and standards; participate in the IT portfolio community of practice (NAVSEA working group); and take such actions as required to ensure the portfolio is an accurate representation of the software and hardware in use by the Command.

    • Process, track, and report on the overall portfolio and the status of individual actions (new adds, LDA extensions, annual reviews, etc.). As part of portfolio maintenance, the contractor shall manage and track the purchase of software and hardware through the Navy's Enterprise License Agreements (ELA's) and Enterprise Software Licenses (ESL's) to ensure compliance with the agreements and appropriate bill back to benefiting department codes.

    • Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    • Master's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or business or related technical field of study

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, information technology, computer science or business or related technical field

    • High school degree, or a GED, and more than three (3) years of experience managing IT projects, reporting status of projects and the development of data analytics

    • Degree must be from an accredited college or university

    • Proven ability to work on high visible or mission critical aspects of a given program and perform all functional duties independently

    • Intermediate to advanced level skills in Microsoft Office software suite - Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint.

    • Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees, Government personnel, and other stakeholders

    • Strong team player, interpersonal skills, good judgment, and the ability to lead a team and work with company leadership

    • Relevant technical or management certifications a plus

     

    SECURITY CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Must currently hold a security clearance at the minimum Secret level.

    Physical Demands:

    • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds

    • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time

    • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically
