This position is within the American Airlines Credit Union. The role is responsible for supporting the strategic growth and performance of the Credit Union’s checking account products and is critical in ensuring product offerings remain competitive as well as align with member needs and support organizational growth objectives. The analyst will leverage data, market insights, and internal/external partnerships to drive checking product growth, adoption, engagement. In addition, the role will oversee relationships with key third-party vendors supporting checking account features and manage ancillary services to ensure an optimal member experience and strong operational performance.
What you'll do
+ Monitor and analyze performance metrics for checking account products, including member engagement, product adoption, and transaction activity
+ Identify and evaluate opportunities to enhance checking account features, ancillary services (e.g., overdraft protection, debit card rewards), and digital capabilities
+ Collaborate with Marketing to plan and execute campaigns that grow checking product usage, deepen member engagement, and increase interchange revenue
+ Support development and maintenance of dashboards, scorecards, and reporting tools to track product performance and measure impact of initiatives
+ Conduct data-driven analysis of member behavior, transaction patterns, and product usage to inform growth strategies
+ Lead or support management of vendor relationships related to checking account services, ensuring vendor performance aligns with contractual obligations and service expectations
+ Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to evaluate, implement, or improve third-party solutions that enhance the checking account experience
+ Conduct industry and competitive research to benchmark product offerings and maintain market relevance
+ Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and assess the impact of product changes or enhancements
+ Prepare and present findings, insights, and recommendations to management and other stakeholders
+ Perform other duties, as assigned
+ The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security and confidentiality of all account and related information which is part of their work and for ensuring that his/her work is in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ High school diploma or GED
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
+ Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, Analytics, or a related field
+ Two to five years of experience in product analysis, retail banking, or financial servicesKnowledge of checking account products, debit card usage, and interchange revenue
Skills, Licenses & Certifications
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office software (e.g., Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) gained through either work experience with the software or education and hands-on use of the software
+ Knowledge of the Credit Union’s systems and SQL preferred
+ Knowledge and experience offering, evaluating and designing financial institution products and services
+ Experience reviewing and analyzing product and channel delivery is a plus
+ Ability to be self-directed and comfortable with accepting ownership, responsibility and accountability of functional obligations
+ Ability to exercise creative problem solving skills
+ Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple tasks and function as an integral part of a team
+ Ability to interact professionally with all levels of management and staff
+ Ability to self-motivate with strong organizational and analytical skills and capacity for attention to detail
+ Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and written
+ Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision
+ Ability to maintain satisfactory performance and attendance
+ Ability to pass American Airlines and Credit Union pre-hire compliance checks
