    Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. (HYMH), a world-class manufacturer of industrial forklift trucks, has an outstanding part-time, year-round internship opportunity at our Danville, Illinois location.

     

    We are looking for team-oriented candidates with strong organizational skills and a passion for photography and product staging.

    What you will do:

    As a Photography and Product Staging Intern, you will work at our Danville Parts Distribution Center (PDC) to coordinate and stage products for professional photography. In this role, you will collaborate with the Americas Headquarters (Greenville, NC) Aftermarket Intern to process images and prepare them for posting, ensuring high-quality visual content for company use. This opportunity will provide you with hands-on experience in product presentation, digital asset management, and collaboration with cross-functional teams, helping you develop valuable skills in a professional setting.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Organize, prepare, and stage products for photography, ensuring they are displayed professionally.

    + Capture high-quality product images and work with the Americas Headquarters intern to edit and prepare them for company use.

    + Develop a solid understanding of the assigned role by engaging in on-the-job training and receiving mentorship.

    + Complete assigned tasks with guidance from your supervisor and team, gaining valuable insight into functional operations, management practices, and leadership strategies.

    + Build technical, managerial, and leadership competencies through hands-on experience and exposure to various assignments, preparing for a successful future as an employee or manager.

    + Actively participate in team projects and contribute to team meetings to support collaboration and achieve project goals

    Who you are:

    + Currently enrolled in a Photography, Graphic Design, Marketing, Communications, or related program.

    + Strong communicator with excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

    + Basic knowledge of photography principles and image editing software (e.g., Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, or similar).

    + A willingness to learn and collaborate in a team-oriented environment.

    What you need:

    + Experience with product photography and digital asset management.

    + Understanding of photo composition, lighting, and retouching techniques.

    + Previous experience with collaborative projects or cross-functional teamwork.

    + Demonstrated involvement in extracurricular activities that showcase leadership and initiative.
