MCA, your trusted advisor for wireless communications, data, and security, is seeking an experienced **Project** **Manager** in **Timonium, MD** to support our fast-growing **In-Building Wireless Solutions division** .
The **Project** **Manager** will manage Distributed Antenna System (DAS) project deployments within the **Maryland/Virginia** **Region** for our fast-growing In-Building Wireless Solutions division. The Project Manager reports to the Regional Operations Manager and will be responsible for the timely and profitable completion of wireless communication construction projects within the region, while ensuring customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will have the responsibility of serving as a project lead and will be working closely and collaboratively with IWS leadership, other project managers, technicians, installers and subcontractors within the region as well as other internal stakeholders. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
+ Ensure positive customer outcomes and customer satisfaction through providing exceptional customer experience.
+ Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope and on budget.
+ Work closely with the Project Management Team, Regional Operations Manager, Deployment Team, Subcontractors, Engineering Team, Logistics Team, clients and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
+ Constructing project plans to ensure successful project deployment.
+ Anticipating and mitigating issues and risk.
+ Ensure that MCA meets contractual project commitments.
+ Obtaining any required permits and licenses.
+ Coordination of the Deployment Team, which consists of both internal and subcontracted resources.
+ Managing multiple projects and prioritizing for self, project teams, vendors, and contractors.
+ Effectively managing project schedule, through setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring the progress of projects.
+ Forecasting of project status and revenue recognition.
+ Developing reports for management review.
+ Relying on extensive judgement to plan and accomplish goals.
+ Communicating and collaborating well with other teams and customers.
+ Demonstrating awareness of all nine areas of project management knowledge (PMBOK) or applicable PM (Project Manager) standard with a firm understanding.
+ Supporting the improvement of process and procedures to drive both project and team efficiency.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE TEAM:
+ 3+ years’ experience in a project coordination/management field.
+ 3-5 years’ experience in relevant technology B2B industry
+ Highly organized, self-initiated and the ability to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple projects or portions of projects and teams.
+ Proficient with CRM and ERP systems and developing reports for management review.
+ Proficient with the suite of Microsoft software, particularly Excel.
+ Experience with at least one of the following: public safety communications systems, cellular infrastructure, military communications, civil infrastructure construction, desired.
+ Understanding of two-way radio, microwave, cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems, desired.
+ Understanding local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services, plus.
+ PMP (Project Management Professional) highly desired or working towards PMP.
YOUR ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
The physical environment requires the employee to work inside.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to frequently stand, walk, sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; talk or hear; lift (overhead, waist level) from the floor, bending, frequently utilize near vision use for reading and computer use; occasionally move equipment weighing up to 15 pounds, and frequently position self to maintain computers or other equipment as needed.
