The Associate FUS Project Owner maintains a high level of organization and attention to detail to oversee multiple projects simultaneously.
This position is ONSITE and requires individuals to be onsite 5 days a week
At UL Solutions, an Associate FUS Project Owner performs administrative task such as, but not limited to:
+ Send project to lab in a timely fashion as warranted by KPI goals.
+ Create lab documents that facilitate testing and recording of data for the project.
+ Finalizing projects in the computer system when completed and indicated by Lab or Engineering teams.
+ Manage receipt of samples through communications with client and verification of physical specimens when received in building.
+ Coordinate with lab teams to prioritize projects and follow-up on status of aging projects.
+ Process Non-Conformance and work with Engineering to get analysis done in a timely fashion.
+ Manage work tickets that are generated at the closure of the job to ensure the job is closed satisfactorily and there are no outstanding issues.
+ Read and follow the Underwriters Laboratories Code of Conduct and follow all physical and digital security practices.
+ Validate samples received by ensuring all necessary sample information is accurate and complete
+ Liaise with Field Engineers to resolve sample discrepancies
+ Search client files to determine required test programs to be conducted and retrieve ID data to create datasheets for testing
+ Address inquiries from lab staff timely regarding sample information or project requirements and resolve issues with Engineering/Principal Engineering staff
+ Coordinate with lab staff to establish quick turnaround time for high-priority projects and to avoid missed promise dates
+ Proactively monitor and follow up on aging projects with lab staff to ensure timely completion
+ Prepare and send closing documentation to clients
What makes you a great fit
+ High School Diploma or GED required.
+ Associates degree preferred
+ Prior customer service or administrative experience preferred.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn proprietary software.
+ Strong written and oral communication skills.
+ Strong organization skills and the ability to coordinate with internal and external teams.
+ Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

+ Total Rewards: We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. The estimated salary range for this position is $44,200 - $58,900 and is based on multiple factors, including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, as well as other factors. This position is eligible for annual bonus compensation with a target payout of 5% of the base salary. This position also provides health benefits such as medical, dental and vision; wellness benefits such as mental and financial health; and retirement savings (401K) commensurate with the standard rewards offered in each individual location or country. We also provide full-time employees with paid time off including vacation (15 days), holiday including floating holidays (12 days) and sick time off (72 hours).
