    Shift’s Available:Variable Shift (Days/Nights)

     

    Employment Type:Per Diem/PRN

     

    Hours:8 Hour Shifts

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + Assists patients with menu selections; collects 80% of menus/patient selections in a timely manner.

    + Prepares late trays taking into consideration presentation, timeliness (within 30 minutes of request) and correct diet.

    + Schedules nourishments according to established meal patterns.

    + Updates and maintains Kardex/computer system with pertinent information for the service of patient diets and meals.

    + Checks tray line for menu and diet accuracy, correcting any errors that are discovered.

    + Heads and tallies patient menus or uses a computer system to check for accuracy in patient menus and tallies.

    Qualifications

    Education and Work Experience

     

    + AA degree in Food Science/Nutrition preferred.

    + One (1) year of healthcare experience working with modified diets preferred

     

    County Specific requirement.

     

    + County Specific Food Handlers certification required upon hire and maintained current
