    St. Joseph Medical Center (SJMC) is looking for aper diem, day shift Occupational Therapist (OT)to be a part of our growing Rehab Team.

     

    Shift’s Available: days

     

    Employment Type:per diem/PRN

     

    Hours:8 hour

    Responsibilities

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):

    + provide prescribed consultative and therapeutic services in order to restore function and prevent disability for clients or patients with musculoskeletal, neuromuscular and cardiopulmonary disorders

    + function according to professional practice as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team

    + therapy for occupations, performance patterns, performance skills, environment and context

    + perform responsibilities in accordance with department and hospital policies, state, federal and regulatory requirements: Title 22 Section 70517, 70519\

    + shift hours: 7:00a - 3:30 pm - 1 Saturday per month and holiday rotation, weekdays as needed and available

    Qualifications

    Education and Work Experience

     

    Before we go any further, we do have some deal-breakers. You must have:

     

    + Bachelor or Master Degree in Occupational Therapy

    + current state Occupational Therapy certification/license

    + BLS (AHA) certificate and maintain current

    Additional Qualifications That Are a Plus:

    + National Board for Certification Occupational Therapy certification, AOTA and OTAC preferred.
