    Description Due to a recent expansion, Northway Toyota is seeking several entry-level automotive service technicians to join the team at our brand new, state of the art store with over 40,000 square feet of heated and air conditioned service bays! Get in early before the construction is done to guarantee a spot before they are filled... High earnings potential and comprehensive benefits package available! Technicians perform all warranty and non-warranty inspections, diagnostic, and maintenance and repair work, as directed by management. Technicians may also be responsible for installing accessories and performing new vehicle pre-delivery inspections, along with prep work. Technicians are required to maintain a current knowledge of vehicles and their service needs as described in manuals, technical bulletins, and training programs. Primary duties and responsibilities of Technician position include, but are not limited to: • Receiving work assignments • Test driving vehicles, if necessary, to verify customer complaints • Diagnosing basic vehicle problems based on customer complaints • Advising the supervising Technician or Service Writer if additional work is needed • Staying up to date on all technical bulletins • Participating in factory sponsored training and programs • Performing other duties as assigned by the Service Manager At a minimum, Technicians should have the following qualifications: • Prior experience as a technician with some experience in a dealership • Basic knowledge of vehicle electronic components, theory, systems, and testing tools and procedures • Skill in diagnosing and repairing all key vehicle systems and components • Knowledge of the proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, along with using tools and equipment • Knowledge of the proper procedures for ensuring the employee's own safety, along with co-workers and customers • Basic writing skills (to record work performed and recommended future service requirements on repair orders) and the ability to read and interpret repair orders • Reliable with good attendance, work ethic, and time management skills We offer a comprehensive benefits package to include health, dental, and vision insurance, along with a 401(K) program with company match, life insurance, paid time off, and employee discounts.
